Here are some of our alumni students and the awesome things they have accomplished.
Amanda Wood
Amanda's Accomplishments:

*4.19 GPA (weighted)
*Mount Holyoke College Book Award
*Fourth place in the North American Computational Linguistics Open Competition.
*She is a member of Jack and Jill & NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers).

"Amanda knows she benefitted from being Miss A's student because it grew her vocabulary and improved her reading comprehension. Even now, as a senior in high school, Amanda is often amazed at how much better of a reader she is than her classmates. When reading aloud, they struggle with words and inflection, but Amanda has fond memories of reading passages and studying vocabulary as part of her test prep courses with Miss A.
Personally, I also recall that working with Miss A eased Amanda's test anxiety.... which was a huge accomplishment since Amanda didn't have any regular practice with standardized tests."
